You can't be GREAT without a little hate

No one is free from criticism and no matter how hard you work, no matter how hard you try, you simply won't be everyone's cup of tea. And that's ok. Look at people in top positions - from the president of the United States to the biggest movie stars in the world, they all have one thing in common. Detractors, naysayers, critics, armchair quarterbacks... the more successful you become the more numerous your critics will become. Suffer them with a badge of honor. The only way to be completely free from negative comments is to do nothing, become nothing, achieve nothing. And while they are talking, watching, paying attention to YOU, you keep perfecting you craft. Because shining bright and going after your dreams is what makes life worth living. 

There is a saying, "The man (or woman) on top of the mountain didn't fall there," by Vince Lombardi. It takes work, dedication, persistence and effort to be really good at anything. If you want to be the best at something never give up. And don't listen to people who try to talk you out of your dreams. 

At times you may feel a little down, discouraged, uncertain and perhaps a little doubt will start to creep into your thoughts. This is exactly the time when you should dress to kill. Put on your boldest shade of red lipstick, style you hair in a classic updo, select the most ornate, over the top rhinestone jewelry and wear you most amazing outfit.

THIS is the night for your most flattering evening gown, your highest heels. The show must go on and if you have anyone who isn't convinced you are the most incredible being and brightest star they have ever had the good fortune to see then it's time you put them on notice. 

Rattle others with the confidence you have in yourself. And no matter what happens, get up, dress up, show up and go for it!
